Creative Juices and Wine flow hand in hand at Abbey Creek

The wonderful thing about working with savvy clients is the rich diet of creativity that happens–both ways! Working with Abbey Creek is a delight for that reason. Bertony Faustin made a deliberate decision to let his brand reflect who he is. He doesn’t comply with what wine label experts say he “should” do. He isn’t eager to get his wines on the shelves of every last retail outlet. No. That’s not his style… AND WE LOVE IT!

Abbey Creek wines are art. Bertony sees every last grape through from cradle to grave. He plants the vines. He prunes and cares for the vines. He monitors the growing grapes. He harvests the grapes. He presses the grapes. He barrels and cellars the grapes–er–wine. And while his attention to the wines and the process is very focused and personal, he invites many to come in and walk the path with him. He is an all-star collaborator working shoulder to shoulder with other winemakers and giving a hand up to those eager and aspiring in the industry.

We’ve known Bertony since before this all began and have attended, tasted and poured for Abbey Creek. With great delight TMTM became involved with Bertony’s launch of a number of limited-production collaboration wines. They recognize minority winemakers; they support wine education; they support outreaches that encourage people to reach for their dreams.  The marketing look is unlike the surrounding traditional wineries, and it should be. Bertony and his wines are uniquely excellent.

Shown here are three recent collaboration wine pieces. The first two come from tri-fold hang tags presented on the bottles to share the stories behind the wines. The third is a social media release announcement.
