Development of Vintyr
|When the Audhumla Beverage company, parent company of Purple Cow Vineyards, came to us they had a dilemma. They produced outstanding wines, yet certain coveted audiences just couldn’t take the purple cow-splotch labels seriously. We worked with Dave and Bri, digging into their Nordic roots, to their mental image of the new brand and of their distribution goals to develop the Vintyr name which immediately resonated strongly for them. The name caries an old-world dignity similar to their extended-barrel Old World style of winemaking. The name immediately struck American audiences as something both familiar and high quality–several even swore to us the Vintyr wine was so good they had been buying it for years…at the brand’s debut at the 2015 Newport Wine Festival! Sales are up and Dave continues to explore the visual imagery for the brand.
